Sequoyah Hills

Nestled in the heart of Sequoyah Hills, this charming 1920s traditional home was undergoing an extensive renovation. The clients engaged SWH to update the entire property with the aim of achieving a casual livability while preserving the home’s historic charm.

Balancing functionality with aesthetic appeal, a complete site overhaul provides a new life for the historic property. A new driveway and path system neatly organize the site and exhibit an estate-like feel on a suburban lot. A series of garden rooms were created to transition from the home to the more natural landscape. A dining terrace accentuated with a central fountain fills the spaces with the tranquil sound of water. A restrained palette of green and white plantings complements the setting. SWH carefully selected all materials for their charm and timeless appeal to showcase the unique qualities of this historic yet welcoming residence.
